Breaking New Ground: Meredith's Inspiring Research Journey at ACR Convergence

We are thrilled to share an exciting milestone from one of our outstanding past grant recipients, Meredith, whose dedication to advancing autoimmune research continues to inspire us all. This past week, Meredith presented her abstract at the prestigious American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Convergence in Washington, D.C., marking a significant achievement in her academic and professional journey.

During the poster session, Meredith’s research drew the attention of many attendees including physicians, researchers, pharmacists, and patients. These conversations created a dynamic exchange of ideas, with Meredith sharing her insights and learning from others’ perspectives. She expressed her hope that the information shared during her presentation will spark new approaches in patient care or inspire further research that builds upon her findings.

In addition to sharing her work, Meredith had the unforgettable experience of meeting one of her role models, Dr. Sara McCoy, a leading researcher in Sjögren’s disease. This in-person meeting with someone she deeply admires was a highlight of her time at ACR Convergence and a moment of personal and professional growth.

Meredith’s accomplishments are a testament to her hard work and passion for making a difference in rheumatology and autoimmune research. We are honored to have supported her journey and look forward to seeing how her contributions will continue to shape the field.
